Editable BrushComponent in Blueprint Viewport

I try to use UE5 to make an traditional Point and Click Adventure.

To set up a “room” i would like to use a for example an Actor Blueprint and set up a Sprite as backdrop. Lets they the backdrops shows a restaurant with the menu next to its door. I would then want to draw a 2d shape around the menu to get geometry i can click on. I can do this in the Editor main viewport but it is not possible to add geometry to the Blueprint viewport or am i missing something?

Basicly what i described seems to be commmon practise in engines supporting 2d like Godot or Unity.

Any help or ideas on this?
