Is it possible to edit the pivot point of a static mesh or bake pivot point of an actor to a static mesh
There is a clumsy method in the engine itself:
I find Nate’s utility much easier, you can automatically put the pivot where you want and bake in a button press:
I toyed around with this inside ue4 but the results are never very good nor permanent. You are much better doing this in a DCC program & would take you literally a few seconds.
Blender 2.8 is free and awesome and Im a 3dsmax /maya user
