Edit pivot in UE4 model viewer

Hello Epic community,

I would like to know, if it is possible to integrate pivot point edit feature, so for example when you forgot to assign pivot to some of vertice, then you can modify it inside of UE4 model editor and save as well.

I agree we need better pivot workflows, but for now you can make a scene component the root of a blueprint and add the mesh as a subcomponent then move the mesh as needed to get the “pivot” position you need.

This has long been requested and there is even a feature request (UE-945) in for this and a bunch of other things to improve with regards to Pivots in UE4. Thanks for your suggestion none the less! :slight_smile:

YAY!!! Thank you so much for this post I was going crazy looking for the button or menu that would allow me to do this! I had no idea it wasn’t implemented in the engine :confused: Thank you! now I can make a door lol
