and state based behaviors,all built using UE5's blueprints and behavior-trees.It is modular
and easy to integrate into any UE5 project,making it ideal for devs looking to create
stealth mechanics without starting from scratch.
The cornerstone of the template is its smart enemy AI, creating dynamic and unpredictable gameplay. Powered by UE5’s Behavior Tree and Environmental Query System (EQS), the AI exhibits context-aware decision-making, enabling enemies to:
Perceive and React Dynamically: Enemies utilize a perception system (sight, sound, damage and environmental cues) to detect the player based on light levels, noise,taking damage and sight, with customizable detection thresholds.
Adaptive Patrol and Search Patterns: AI follows linear spline based patrol routes but can deviate based on player actions, such as investigating disturbances or coordinating with other enemies to flank or trap the player.
Learning and Memory: The AI retains knowledge of the player’s last known position and adapts its strategy over time, increasing difficulty by predicting player behavior based on past encounters.
Group Dynamics: Enemies communicate sharing alerts and coordinating responses
State-Based Decision Making: Using a finite state machine integrated with UE5’s AI framework(behavior trees), enemies seamlessly transition between states (e.g., patrolling, investigating, attacking, or retreating) based on real-time player-driven inputs.
Sound Propagation: A custom sound system simulates noise propagation, actions like running, , or using distractions (e.g., throwing items) generate audio cues that enemies can detect and investigate.crouching is the best way to navigate the environment quietly and maybe stand a chance
Takedowns: The template supports varied playstyles, offering tools like distractions or stealth takedowns for players who prefer a more aggressive approach. Direct confrontation is meaningless,no seriously the AI isn't messing around😂💔
