Eating Animations/Mechanic


I want to create mechanic similiar to this in Tarkov: All Food and Drinks Animations in Escape from Tarkov - YouTube

My setup is - when using edible item I spawning a actor (which contains a skeletal mesh of food), attach this actor to hand, play a montage for character and then play animation inside edible actor. Problem is how to rig the edible item to properly animate? I animating this inside Maya, any advice will be helpfull.
