Hello / Good evening,
I’m new on Unreal Engine and I’m testing EasyMapper to use “displacement” in a more beginner friendly way but I have this problem and I can’t find a solution. Do you know how to fix this filthy cube? Thank you in advance!

Hi there @Odontoleuco
Welcome to the Unreal Forum. Yea, that’s the old ‘exploding faces’ displacement issue. Your cube is getting vertex displacement, but because a cube has disconnected faces (6 sides not smoothly connected), when you push vertices outward (like displacement does), it rips apart like that.
Thanks for the explanation. Is there any way to fix that or is it a lost cause?
I found something, I used (in the modeling mode) vortex merge and it seems to work. I don’t know if it was the right way, but I can’t find anything else and it keeps the sides together.
If it works, it works.
