Easy Anti-Cheat has the inability to detect .LUA files in Logitech G Hub.
With this players on multiple games can easily type a brief few lines of code and have perfect recoil, timings, whatever it may be. In this instance that I’m typing in I am speaking about Rust. Rust has always had a large influx of hackers/cheaters/exploiters but there is nothing being said about the .LUA scripts for free.
In other cases, third party software’s have just been disabled upon launch by EAC such as, BLOODY, NVIDIA GAME FILTERS???, and others.
If anything SHOULDN’T be take out is the game filters. The same can be done with onboard graphics and other third party software’s, but if you use them… INSTANT game ban.
With the removal of the GHUB usage, players can STILL change DPI and other options either through their actual mouse, or key binds in-game. I would confidently say, over 50% of players that are aware of .LUA files and that have a Logitech mouse have once or consistently use .LUA files.
EAC has had MULTIPLE struggles with rust in the past and continue to do so. It is known as THE WORST anti-cheat when you ask any rust player. I think it has great integration with not much system problems but once you are in game there’s too many to count. EAC Auth time-outs are nothing compared to the amount of cheaters there are in our games.
This will NOT reach who it needs to I know but if someone could give me some sort of counter-argument that makes any kind of sense please do. If you need a LUA, just look it up and click any of the links its that easy.
