Easiest way to duplicate landscape painting from one Tile/Proxy to another on large map?

Hi fellow UE enjoyers.

I’m in the process of creating a large map and have been looking at different ways to achieve the following to no success.

I would like to copy/paste terrain painting from one tile to another (proxy to proxy) without having to hand paint every single inch of the map.

I’ve noticed in large games such as WoW they paint a small chunk of terrain with a patterm/design that can then be duplicated across the map as a good base to work from, generally these also have small height variations etc as well for mounds/pathing.

The copy/paste gizmo only works for actually terrain sculpting/heights but not the textures painted or am i missing something? The other option is possibly a masked landscape material which would apply certain textures to varying heights of the terrain as far as I can tell?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, much love.

Maybe this?

Right-click on the painting layer.

Hey thanks for the reply, is this on UE4? I forgot to mention I’m on using 5.4 and not seeing that set of options on neither the layer or tile.

Third click is inside the context menu above.
