Hello everyone, I am experiencing a critical issue with Ocean System for Rendered Cinematics v2.5 in Unreal Engine 5.6.1 onи macOS. The plugin doesn’t work on my machine, the visuals are completely broken.
- Black Material Previews: In the Content Browser and the Material Instance editor, all ocean materials appear as solid black squares. The preview sphere is not rendered at all.
- “White Milk” Viewport: In the level, the ocean surface is a flat, opaque white. It looks like a solid layer of foam covering the entire world to the horizon, with no transparency or water color visible.
- Forward Shading Crash: Attempting to enable Forward Shading to fix transparency causes the project to crash during startup.
- No Clear Errors: The Output Log doesn’t show specific “Failed to compile” red errors for these shaders, but they simply refuse to render correctly.
