Now if only Epic (or someone) will release a DirectInput plugin for UE4 to implement HOTAS support…
Now that would be nice to actually be able to use a joystick, but there’s a trick you can use one of those joystick to Xbox one for Xbox converter hardware modules and trick Unreal into using it as input device via the gamepad drivers.
But that is definitely not the solution that works for more than testing.
But since now C++ based plug-ins are available on the marketplace I guess someone will just program something like this as a plugin.
