Dynamic normal maps in UE4 - Proof of concept

Hi guys,

I’ve been experimenting a bit with normal maps and I come up with this proof of concept which soon will be put into a full Tech Demo for UE4 with other functions I’m developing.

The entire system is completely dynamic, I’m not using morph targets, the face is built using a rig ( using Softimage Facerobot ), and the setup that I’ve used can be used for both main characters and npc, both ingame and for cinematics.

Soon I will release a tech demo and it’ll be a feature which I will offer as a service, together with facial motion capture using Facewawre technology.
