DYLO Gaming - Animation Editor

Animating is normally a pain (literally) because of continuous use of a mouse. Unreal's default editing merely exposes the properties to you, so users use third-party tools like Cascadeur or Blender, but its tedious switching between two different programs. This is a keyboard-driven animation editing tool allowing you to work entirely from a keyboard.

This allows you to edit keys, add poses, switch between controls, export animation data to data tables which can then be imported onto other animations in their entirety or on controls you specify. For example, you can start on an idle animation, then import a sword equipping animation but specifically from spine, arms, and head, allowing you absolute control on how you blend and create animations.

  • [Control + Shift + Enter] Bake to control rig
