I loved this game franchise since GOTY and was so ramped to see the new UT, keep getting driver crash and reset while online… followed a few fixes to see if that helps… lower grafics etc… but surely wouldn’t have to with my rig?
Anyways, if anyone could help Id appreciate it. not had this problem with any other games as of yet.
Thanks, but my drivers are up to date, tried download anyway, told me the same thing. Is frustrating tried again a minute ago got a few frags and it cut out. I’m going to try and lower settings, but I’m sure I really shouldn’t need to. Thanks
What specific drivers are you on for your card? There was a set of drivers recently that are having numerous crashes that may be directly related to this as they were specific to the R9 380 and 390 cards. More than likely the crash you are experiencing has to do with this.
Have you posted on the Unreal Tournament forums about the crashes you are experiencing? It is the best location for assistance and information based specifically on Unreal Tournament as the answerhub is more geared towards the Unreal Engine and development. Posting onforums.unrealtournament.com/ is probably the best bet for assistance, though it most likely is the driver issue that I mentioned above. If the computer was built in august, that would fall directly within the timeframe that these driver issues started occurring.
Hey SgtStabba, so do you have installed the driver I linked or do you have not?
You said
“Followed the above link and had these drivers as standard since I got it.”
Which sounds like yes, you have the driver I linked installed
Then you said
“I havnt downloaded the beta driver version 15.10 I think I’m on 14.7.1 would this be of any issue?”
Which sounds like no, you have not installed the driver I linked.
If you have not installed it, please try to do it and see whether it fixes the problem, I got the same crashes you have since I’m also affected by the bug (I use a R9 390) but since I installed the driver I linked above I did not have a single crash. So I don’t want to say it surely fixes the problem, but that I have not got any crash the last 2 days sounds promising at least
