Draw a debug point that stay after simulation end

Hello !

I want to accelerate my developpement and I want to place meshes where the character is supposed to arrive when he jump or fall.
The thing is, until now, i just play in the viewport, i see roughly when it goes and then i place meshes and i move them a bit etc… long process.

Is there a way i can draw debug stuff in the air during simulation, like a line or points that will stay after i stop playing so i can have a precise understanding of where my character goes ?

THANKS MUCH !

No draw debug will not work. There is “Visual logger” but it also does not work for when you turn off simulation.

However you can do kind of “hack”. During runtime (in game) create Data Asset that keeps transform of where you want your marker. Then in editor make editor tool that loads all data assets and places marker actors there.

Yeah i figured after a while you have to kinda " HACK " the thing…
I just made a key like “G” key, and when i press it, it gives me my current position in X Y Z in the output log, then i place a cube in the air and paste this location on the cube so after this i just have to build around it… time saver but still weird outsider stuff i think :stuck_out_tongue:
