Anyitme I want to drag and drop a static mesh it takes a long time (if it’s not freezing ) .I used a downloadable content the “open world demo collection” not my own models,
but a single 4500 triangle mesh froze my whole computer . If anybody has the same problem and found a solution please respond. The engine itself kicks *** but that thing is really anoying please help me .
It’s not just the Tri-count that causes it to take long, they use several 4k materials (and multiple 4k texture maps per material) on most of the open word stuff - so it’s all been loaded up which usually takes the time. Even from a SSD and a top end machine it takes time to load that amount of data into the engine.
