Downgrading Paragon animations, simple guide (4.19 -> 4.18)

This is nothing revolutionary. But I found myself wanting to use some of their animations in my 4.18 project and migration wasn’t an option.
1, Create a clean 4.19 Project
2, Install the Paragon characters you are interested in into that project
3, Find their respective animations folder
4, Right click the animation file, under “Asset Actions” there’s the option to export
5, Export as .FBX. I left the default settings
6, Import into your 4.18 project choose the Epic mannequin skeleton
7, You will get a bunch or errors concerning the extra bones Epic added to the characters. I have yet to find an issue ignoring these upon import
8, If needed, retarget from that skeleton onto your own

Hope that helps someone!
Cheers.

Late to the party here, but quality tip right here! Pretty much the same with most assets, but it hadn’t occurred to me it would be this easy. Cheers for writing it out!

Yah that kind of works but animation takes gets exported as Unreal Take so when down graded you have to rename the take?

Better solution release the source animation (MotionBuilder?)
