Is there a way to get UE 5.0?

As opposed to 5.0.3 right?
I’m curious as to what the reason for wanting 5.0.0.
Also, know that any assets opened in a future version of the engine (like 5.1) cannot be opened in previous versions.
For any UE version not on the launcher, you’d need to compile it yourself from github.

I’m trying to attempt to learn how to use unreal but it seems like everything changed right after 5.0
I don’t think that’s true.
Even UE4 and UE5 are largely similar.
If you’re worried about differences between 5.0 and 5.1 (and have the extra disk space) then you can have both versions installed at the same time to compare.
I’m sure you’re right honestly. I’m just confused on how to do things. For example, I did the retargeter. I want to just copy the animations from Quinn I believe into the character I imported. I appreciate the link and the help. I just got to figure out my way around github.
I’m not familiar with retargeting, but I’m confident that watching a couple youtube tutorials on the process will help.
Just to be clear, I thought you were asking a completely different question. (How to get UE 5.0.0 when you can only download 5.0.3) So please ignore my link about getting/compiling the engine through Github. The engine versions you need will be downloadable through the launcher.

Well, that what I was thinking, the retargeting on 5.0 was more familiar to me than 5.1. I was still trying to find 5.0. I connected my account to github, but I’m not sure what to do after that. I really appreciate your help.
