Doubts about the new function POM (Parallax Occlusion Mapping) from UE 4.9

Im using the new version of UE 4.9 preview 2 and im trying to understand the new function POM thats came on the new version.

If possible i’d like any help to understand its functions , for i can mount up the material POM for objects e another Terrain. If possible I would like some example for reference.
