Doors in video textures


I am entirely new to the UE and am trying to build a VR digital art gallery for my master’s degree project (I’m researching spatial sound in games)

I created a prototype and assumed my idea would work.

The problem is that I didn’t realise that making doors in video textures is that problematic.

Would you be able to suggest any way of making a “hole” in a plane so the player can move through different rooms? Or maybe a way of playing video textures on geometry cubes?

For making a “hole” you’ll need an external program, like Autodesk Maya or Blender.
And there you can make a shape as you want.

There are many tutorials on the internet to quickly learn how to use these programs.
