I have tried and tried and tried, I’ve watched four hours of youtube trying to get this right — How do I set up an IMPORTED (I specifically wanted to highlight that) door in UE4? I’ve followed step by step instructions copying exactly what I see and still nothing is working.

The first thing I wonder about is the origin point of the imported door. Is it placed in a good spot for it to “hinge” when rotated? (Or, if this is a sliding door, the location of the origin/pivot would not be as important)
It’s placed in a door frame so that it will have a hinge point.
If you place the frame and the door in your level, and you select the door, and then manually rotate/open the door, does it hinge as expected?

So now if your door is imported rotating as expected, following a video tutorial but using your meshes instead should get you where you want to be.
