If a project is running really slowly due to being a really large size with many assets, if I reduce “Engine Scalability Settings” in the settings window in the top right of the editor, everything speeds up. Will this also reduce the final movie render queue export quality too, or is it just within the editor? I’m trying to find ways to speed up my project as right now it’s about 8fps.

I believe it’ll will automatically switch to Cinematic when you render. But if you want to make sure it’s always set to Cinematic, you can add Game Overrides to Movie Render Queue and enable Cinematic Quality Settings
I know this is performing a bit of necromancy on this thread.
But I just wanted to thank you for answering this question. I have a project too that is just massive and I’ve had to scale it way down and was worried about the final product.
