I’ve created a series of wooden building block structures in 3DS Max. All the blocks are instances of each other. They have been imported in to Unreal via Datasmith and I can see that each Static Mesh in my level is an Instance.
However, PerInstanceRandom doesn’t seem to work. I have tried to use it to lerp between several diffuse colours, but each instance looks identical.
I can’t use the World Position as a workaround as these blocks will have to move.
