Does having multiple cameras create performance issues?

I was wondering if having multiple cameras, all activated separately (as in none are active at the same time) would create performance issues. I’m making an aiming thing for my game Two Guns Two Goals and since it’s only two Guns, I would only need three cameras for each weapon. Will having three cameras affect my performance though, despite two not being active at any given time?

As to your question, just having multiple cameras will have no impact on performance, if multiple cameras are rendering at the same time (for example if you have one rendering to a texture for a security camera kind of effect) then they will have an impact.

If I have (unused) cameras, will that cost little-to-nothing, or should I deactivate them?
