I was looking into using UE for developing a game, but I am worried by the monthly overheard. I understand that if I buy a subscription then cancel it, I can continue using the software at the same version for free. However, it concerns me because there may suddenly be a release that contains lots of bug patches and new content that I would find really useful. Therefore, since I can’t tell from the FAQ section of the site, I’m asking ‘does cancelling a subscription forever forfeit future updates, or can I re-subscribe later on and gain access to the latest updates?’
