Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Hello everyone,

I have a similar issue with my laptop i9 RTX4070 when i hit prepare for performance.

MetaHumanMeshTracker: Error: (VulkanDevice.cpp, l134): failed to find GPUs with Vulkan support
MetaHumanMeshTracker: Error: (FaceTrackingAPI.cpp, l178): failure to initialize: Critical error (VulkanDevice.cpp, l134): failed to find GPUs with Vulkan support

I tried to uninstall with ddu and reinstall the latest nvidia driver.
Disable the onboard intel arc and iris GPU in device manager.
Everything is up to date mb firmware, windows, etc.
When i check the cube in vulkan sdk it works so i guess that my gpu has vulkan support.
Oddly when i try to run the same project on my coworker laptop who also has a 4070 it works.
My computer is an MSI Katana i9 rtx 4070 unreal 5.3.2

As I understand it’s connected somehow to DirectX 12. It’s not working properly. I would say it more like DirectX 12 not working properly with GPU Driver and it’s the problem. I don’t have solution, just a theory, because I have the same problem

It seems on January 29, a Windows update installed/ updated this pack and the pack has a bug.

So is there a solution for that bug that we can do?

The workaround is to uninstall the Jan 29 windows update or not use it until the new fix for windows update is submitted

Still getting this issue in 1/03/2024. Anyone have any ideas!

I have the same problem.

I got same problem.

my system(ASUS Laptop)
cpu : i9-13900h
ram : 32gb
gpu : RTX4080 Laptop GPU

i tried changing rhi dx12 to dx11 in project settings,
when change this setting , i can success prepare to performance but it needs dx12 to process in metahuman performance.

i think it really problem of dx12, as @Popuaka1 mentioned.

i am trying to solve this problem using mux switch(non-optimus), but it is not worked.

and @Ken.Kuwano i bought my laptop after Jan 29. 2023, so there is no update in my laptop

Hi, when I disabling my integrated graphics processor, all of the movement of my monitor got so slow. How about your case? Did your monitor worked still well?

Hello Everybody,

After 4 days straight of research I finally found the solution!
The issue is caused by a windows package:
Open CL, Open GL, Vulkan compatibility package.
Go to your applications settings and uninstall it, restart , and it should work.
