Does anyone know how to adjust the water depth in the built-in water plugin of Unreal Engine 5?

I have a question. It seems that in Unreal Engine 5, there’s no way to change the water depth. I can’t find where to adjust it at all. Also, when generating oceans or other bodies of water, there always seems to be an island in the middle. Can this be removed?

Hello there @leon_520_1314!

If you are working with the UE Water plugin, the solution is to open the material for the water and enable the “UseFixedZ” parameter. This will allow you to manually adjust the Z axis of the water actor in your level. If the issue persists, disable “UseFixedWaterDepth”.

Additionally, please check out the Unreal guides covering the water systems for more information:

Thank you very much, but now i’m using Oceanology
