Does anyone know how to add advertisements?

Greetings, so I’ve recently finished making my first ever Unreal Runner game app and I was wondering how can I add advertisements to it so I can monotize it?

I’ve looked up information on YouTube but all of the videos are outdated and no longer work, so I was hoping that someone would have a solution here. I’ve also browsed through the asset store to see if I could find any plugins for it, but I’d like to use a method that’s not expensive.

I would really appreciate any advice or tips I could get regarding this matter. As I’ve stated before, I’ve already finished my game so I would really like to release it before next year if it’s at all possible to add advertisements to it.

I’ve originally planned to make my app free on the marketplace, so that’s the very reason why I’m interested in adding ads to it.

This Ad System is Free. But, I would think any Ad System that under $100 that can monetize your game is worth the investment and will pay for itself. I considered going the Ads-Pay-4-Play route, but after research I determined the Free-2-Play model with In-app purchases generates more revenues. Down side, F2P Games require more work.

I’m using multiple monetization techniques to monetize my games and its my believe that game devs have to do this to generate any sort of decent revenue with all the competition. I’m personally going with a F2P model that offer Cash-driven Tournament Game Modes, Game 3D Prints (merch), In-game Ads, and Affiliate Program to monetize. I’m also looking at the Adsense model to figure out a means to implement a Paid-2-Play Model.

Thank you for the reply, I decided I wouldn’t go with the free approach as there’s too much bugs with the new Unreal, so I’m going to take the paid game route as it’s easier and quicker for me. I may look into advertising in the future though, but once again thank you for your time and answer. I really appreciate it.

Understandable. If you’re going the paid game route, I would encourage adding and 1 more monetization strategy as there is much competition in the game space. I’m a random indie game dev struggling to generate revenue for my own games, so take what i say with a grain of salt. Wish you great financial success with your game!
