Does anybody know how to fix d3d device being lost?

Hi there. I was having the same issue. I’m using an Acer Laptop. The laptop the same as other ones has two graphic cards, the integrated one (Intel graphic card in my case), and the powerful one in my case an Nvidea one. I tried all things, from chaging the Tdr, to switching to the studio version of my Nvidea Driver, but the thing that fixed it in my case was:

  1. Go to your device manager.
  2. Look for “Display Adapters”.
  3. Disable the integrated graphic card. Only keep the secondary graphic card. My case the Nvidea one.
  4. Look for the “Nvidea Control Panel” app.
  5. Cick on “3d Settings” => Manage 3d Settings.
  6. In the “Global Settings” tab and set your main graphic card as the one to use.

Best of lucks to you all.
