Does any one know if unreal engine 4 can play a .bik file ie in engine 3, I only got about 30 seconds of play time, but played the movie good, was a .Avi converted into a . bik file

does any one know if unreal engine 4 can play a .bik file ie in engine 3, I only got about 30 seconds of play time, but played the movie good, was a .Avi converted into a . bik file.

due to not having engine 4 at the moment, is because if the engine 4 cannot play a 656 meg video file, I will not be installing engine 4 to be just banging my head on the desk the wall the door and then the mantle piece.

i dont see .bik listed as a supported format but .avi is supported. the links below are to the documentation on video and the formats supported. honestly though with all the free video converters out there i wouldn’t have that as the limiting factor on not using unreal engine. also avi is a very common standard format why would you move away from that to a lesser known format.

Thank’s Am downloading engine 4 now my broadband is on, as I had problems with week WI FI Signal, well I hope am able to stick a .Avi on now, and make a brill map, bet ya I get it all done and they don’t do front ending it, or do but called it some thing else. lol
