Hi! Does anyone have ideas why Fab considers this content “mature”? The automated email says it’s Regulated Goods (alcohol, tobacco, drugs, pharmaceuticals), but there aren’t even any empty bottles. I already filed an appeal and asked which assets should be removed, but I only received an automatic response that the sanction remains in effect… I don’t want the products to fall into this “mature” category, since they’re not visible from outside the marketplace - needs to be logged in to view the content.. Fab
Hi Oleg. I can explain the situation. When listings are reviewed, one of the many things that are checked is any links that the publisher includes in case it points to inappropriate or mature content. If it does, it can impact the primary listing. One of the links you include points to Concert Event Stage Arena Interior Stadium - Modular 3d Environment Level | Fab
That listing has cigarettes in it, which is a regulated good, and thus considered mature. That listing should be flagged as mature because of the inclusion of cigarettes, and must have been missed in initial review. It will need to be updated. Once the listing is updated to mature, it will no longer require the Black Diamond listing to be mature.
Hi Fab_Josh
Thanks for the explanation. Now I understand what needs to be fixed. Do you agree that if I didn’t know these details, I would never have gotten to this point myself. That’s why, in the appeal, I asked what specifically I needed to correct. But I received an automatic response (ignore). It would be great if the sanctions had more information about which assets violate the rule, because creators are often “in blur” and don’t understand what needs to be corrected.
There are limitations to the current sanction system, as it was not designed for a back and forth dialogue, but I certainly understand that the issue was unclear and not intuitive. We continue to look at how to improve the system.
A team member just updated your listing, so you should be good to proceed now.
Fine, I got a notification. Thanks for the support!
