Do you have to make a Save Game when you put the game to Play Store?

Hello,

As the title says, do i have to make a Save Game when i put the game to Google Play Service? Or does it automatic save?

I think Google Play Service is the Play Store that any android get, correct me if i’m wrong. If it’s wrong, may i ask which one is Play Store?
