do windows need to be seperate actors from translucent actors? i can't use other maps...

i’m trying to create a window that has dirt smudges on it, and it was part of the same model as a wall and door frame. it looked great in substance painter, and when i imported it into unreal, the windows are completely invisible, or completely opaque. i can’t figure out how, or if it’s even possible to have the Met, Spec, Rough, Norm, maps enabled WHILE STILL having partial transparency on only a certain part of the object.
