Hello- I am trying to make a flag flutter in the wind using Apex Clothing and a WindDirectionalSource actor. I have the flag working, but I am having a hell of a time fine tuning it to look natural.
Do the Strength, Speed, and Gust settings in the Wind actor actually influence the motion of my Apex cloth? Even if I change their default values of ~.1 to 1000, I don’t see any difference. The only way I seem to be able to modify the cloth motion is to change the Apex Clothing > Physical Material settings in my 3DSMax modifier.
Just wondering if there’s a more appropriate way to go about this…thanks for your time.
