We’ve been monitoring this creator for some time now and thanks to this creator and his many accounts — most likely created under the names of family members and acquaintances — it’s impossible to work normally in this environment. His maps are purely IP-based maps that have already received multiple DMCA takedowns. This creator always reuploads the map immediately under a different account, and then later moves it again between other accounts or changes its name. I believe it shouldn’t be a problem for Epic to track all of these accounts, as he keeps transferring maps between them over and over again.
He has already received DMCA takedowns from IKEA, WALMART, LIDL, and others, yet these maps continue to go live again under different accounts. This person is not only exploiting IP-based maps but also leeching off maps from other creators. He constantly uses the names of the most popular maps in his own titles and often copies or closely imitates their thumbnails.
I’ll include just a fraction of his accounts in the screenshots. Myself and hundreds of other creators would truly appreciate it if Epic could dedicate at least some time to look into the movement of maps across these accounts and the number of DMCA takedowns he has already received. A creator like this has no place in a functioning ecosystem.
