I have RTX 3070 with Latest driver installed (Jan 2023)
I downloaded DLSS for UE5 from Nvidia’s site:
After unzipping it, I got:
Then I manually copied DLSS & NIS folder to my project’s plugins folder and restarted UE5
I can see the plugin is enabled and in Project Settings I also checked Enable DLSS to be turned on in Editor viewports
But still the menu is not showing up:
Confirmed that Output log listed ‘LogDLSS: NVIDIA NGX DLSS supported 1’.
Running the r.NGX.Enable console command returns ‘1’ meaning it’s enabled.
Wondering what I’m doing wrong here. Thanks

Sorry. Turns out they have removed editor UI. No extra menu.
Screen Percentage IS the setting for DLSS
So everything is actually working fine. Some interesting findings:
Pro:
- FPS actually increases a bit after sometime, I guess it somehow ‘learnt’
- If you have small object that blinks when camera is far away, say a blind, DLSS fix that problem. WOW
Con:
- Noticable visual flicking. Especially when you have a moving red car. There are noticable red dots behind the car
