Astaroth is one of the highest ranking and strongest demons in the hellish Legion. Along with other higher rulers of hell, he carries a particle of the First Demon in the form of a crystal on his chest, which is the source of his power and strength. Among the other demons from the Circle of Eight, Astaroth is the most loyal to the human race, but this does not prevent him from leaving a scorched desert in his path.
