Distributed developers and UE4 Engine

Hello UE team,

I have a startup game development company in Michigan, USA. I have some of my development being outsourced to contracted developers in England and Germany.

Am I allowed to access to the Unreal Engine in order for them to work on the project or does this violate any part of the license?


Each individual developer that would be working with UE4 would require a unique account and their own subscription. As per the EULA,

Epic grants you a non-exclusive,
non-transferable, non-sublicensable
(except as described in this
Agreement) license for a single User
to use, reproduce, display, perform,
and modify the Licensed Technology for
any lawful purpose (the “License”).
