Distorted model once animation added

I’ve just figured out how to export an animation out of Max and get the model and movement into Unreal.

The issue I’m having now is that the animation doesn’t appear to be lined up and is massively distorting Clarence… my caribou. Any suggestions on how I might fix this?

im laugh so hard watching the poor creature being possessed xD
i think it could be a issue w the skeleton, you are using its own skeleton to attach the animation or you are using an skeleton that belongs to another mesh, and if you have the properly skeleton, you created the animation or you downloaded it?

I’m using its own skeleton.
i purchased it off of turbosquid but converted it to fbx through max on my own.

i’m a blender guy, so I don’t know max, but you may have to straighten out all the bone twists and create your own animations… just keep making t-pose anims until it works right… don’t know about turbo, but make sure you have a root bone… oy… poor Clarence
