Hi, I wonder if someone can help me out. I’m adding a Distance Field Replacement mesh to a static mesh but for some reason, I’m having issues trying to position it properly. I assumed it’s done based on the pivot? I have edited the pivot on both meshes to be in correct place, yet when I view the parent mesh using visualize mesh distanceField in the scene, it’s off not matching placement correctly. Can someone give me a clue about how to position the distance field replacement mesh correctly?
In case anyone has the same issue… I found that if I duplicate the replacement mesh , edit the pivot on the new one and then apply the new one to as the distance field replacement, it then places as expected according to the pivot Not sure why I can’t just edit the pivot on the existing one, but at least this works.
