Please implement feature to display a selected camera view’s position, rotation and scale in relations to the world origin of the stitched model.
+1.
It would allow us to use a bubble level and a compass and take a reference picture to have the model properly orientated.
Is that not possible yet?
Then +1 from me!
You can already do the leveling by including a small object in your scans that has 3 known points.
You can then place control points in the images with these three points (X, origin and Z)
When you have a control point selected, you will see in your 1ds view that its set to ‘Tie point’ you will want to change this to Ground Control, and enter its coordinates in so that your three points have exact X Y Z positions (this is why you build a small device or just a tiny flat surface on your turntable)
I do this with most of my scans.
Hey Erik,
thanks for the reply.
The TO meant to have info on a specific camera/image though, not to orient/scale the whole component…
