Dismemberment mechaniс

In my game, I want to implement a character dismemberment system. It will work, for example: the hand will have three hitboxes, one for the shoulder, the second for the forearm and the third for the hand. When, for example, enough damage passes through the brush hitbox, this part of the character’s mesh falls off, and it is no longer possible to use this limb, and if, for example, the forearm is cut off, then the character also loses the hand.
I would like to know if there is any tutorial on how such a system could be implemented?
