Disgusting DMCA bypass

How is it possible that one group of creators is able to repeatedly bypass DMCA? IKEA has already sent multiple DMCA takedowns for their map, and every time they just copy it to another account and publish it again. And it’s not just IKEA — they do this with every map. Walmart, Lidl, KFC, McDonald’s, and many others.

I believe Epic must be aware of this, especially considering how these maps constantly get moved from one account to another whenever the original account gets hit with a DMCA. Please, something needs to finally be done about this, and these creators should be banned from creating on this platform.

Disabled by Ikea this week - https://fortnite.gg/island?code=9574-3457-8686

Immediately a new version was created in the same week - https://fortnite.gg/island?code=9865-2575-4788

The same version of the map, just quickly renamed according to the history right before the DMCA was sent https://fortnite.gg/island?code=5793-6245-8868

I could send these links endlessly, please open your eyes already

this is only the tip of the iceberg, the deeper I look into the world of map creation the more disgusted I am.

They don’t care. But they will when one of these large IP holders launches a lawsuit directed at EPIC for failure to control these types of things. The whack-a-mole lawsuit. Eventually someone is going to focus on Epic or Roblox and it will gain traction in the court system for them not doing enough to control it.

the amount of blatant copyright infringement I see on Discover is insane, Epic really has to step up and do something about it.

It seems to be so inconsistent, like i got a ip sanction a while ago while creating not publishing for a poster in a room refering to star wars.

they are on it if its an company they work with, also its kinda disgusting to keep all the responsibility at the creator.

Other new creators will see this popular stuff and will just copy the behaviour making it worse and worse
