So I’ve been very active in making maps lately. And released a couple pretty fast after eachother.
Now for this reason I have the feeling that Epic is considiring my actions as spamming content.
Ofcourse I would never want that.
But because of this I see that all my newer maps (wich are way better made then my previous ones) aren’t even put into discovery. For instance, my first map that I made was pushed in Discovery within a day and had like 122 players. After this my maps didn’t get much into discovery, and my latest two didn’t even get a chance to get in discovery.
I would love to know how their system works because this just seems very weird to me.
My last map could be really fun for people in my opinion. Would also love to hear your opinion on it!

The popular sentiment seems to be that creative / discover is oversaturated with Red vs Blue maps, so It could be a situation where your map is shown to players after releasing, but gets drowned out in a sea of purple. (Because when you mix red vs blue colors together you get purple )
This blog post offers an explanation of how Discovery Tab works.
This isn’t 100% accurate and there’s definitely more variables, but the longer you spend building in UEFN/Creative the higher chance you will have at getting pushed onto discovery.
This should be taken with a grain of salt however, discovery is not your target audience. Its mostly very young players that have very little replay value. Ive crested a few thousand plays via discovery and half of them could barely turn around let alone build. You should focus on making a feature/submission worthy map rather then hope for discovery plays.
