Discovered A Piracy Website Hosting My Assets And Other Marketplace Products

Hello to the marketplace publishing community here!

I’ve come across a digital asset piracy website by the name of ‘3d-model.org’ that is hosting a variety of Unreal Engine Marketplace products, including my own products.

This is of course without my own permission and presumably any other publisher’s permission. Is this a known issue within the community and is Epic themselves aware of websites like this? I don’t feel great about sharing their existence publicly but feel like this is something that needs to be discussed.

I understand that piracy of digital files is difficult to prevent and counter but is there anything that we can do to fight this?

Thanks, I’ve submitted an enquiry. Here’s hoping that other affected publishers do the same so that this subject can gain some attention.
