I found there was a RC plugin for Houdini:

+1 on that. our whole pipeline is based around RC and Houdini so we would love to be able to just do it all in one houdini hda.
Hi, I think this is more a question for Houdini, there is no another info yet.
@Ondrej: They actually passed the bucket to you saying there is no updated SDK from you guys, which is why they stopped supporting it.
I will try find out more, there is a winter break now. Do you have a source for this?
