Disabling specific sublevel actors (Directional Light, etc) in persistent level?

Hi, I like having a duplicate of persistent global actors (Directional Light, Fog, audiomanager, etc) in my sublevels so that I can edit & play them independently maintaining the same game global features & environment.

Is there a method to disable specific sublevel actors when working on a persistent level in editor? Presently I destroy them on play using a tag, but I would also like to remove their influence in editor if possible as I imagine they add overhead? I also wonder if my destruction method is ideal?
