Is it possible to explain a bit more what this “dirty assets could not be saved” is about ? I would love to better understand the problem and how you got into this situation ?
I just created a project in UEFE using the island template. When I start the project with the Launch Session button, UEFE asks to save the changes, but the window just closes on agreement and gives an error asking to save the dirty assets. Saving the assets did not produce any result and the files continued to have the “*” symbol in their icon.
Saving all also did not lead to any result, as well as restarting the computer and the project.
I accidentally hit this sequence of actions and the problem disappeared.
But I got another one, when importing buildings directly from fortnite in flying man mode the project does not pass validation and does not start giving error messages:
Thanks for the context. This has actually nothing to do with the Revision Control system and I would not recommend turning it off if the project is URC enabled. So you avoid losing any of your working being properly tracked.
i followed those steps and now i can’t enable my unreal revision control again, it says that the “unreal revision control binary is missing on my system” or something like that, my error message is in french
i tried verifying uefn files and opening it again, still no access to the revision control
edit : now i can’t launch my uefn and it ask me to do “reparation” wich is pretty much files verification but it always fail, what should i do ?
i tried re-installing the entire uefn and the installation keep failing
