My mod remaps NPCSpawnEntries to custom ones, but the only significant changes compared to default ones are the fact that custom dinos are used. Other than that, it’s minor tweaks to spawn chance for multiple dinos at once.
But after starting the game, for some reason, I barely see any dinos anymore. And when I do see them, they appear quite out of place. Like raptors and scorpions on the shore. I remapped all spawn entries with equivalent copies, so that shouldn’t happen.
Is there something that significantly changed in v218 compared to v217 (the ADK’s version) that could be causing this?
Yeah, I know this is lame, but bump. This renders my mod borderline unplayable.
I did a bit more testing and it seems that SOME areas are fine: like the snow biome, that one is chock full of wolves, deer and argents.
Dilos also spawn semi-reliably. But there are too few dinosaurs overall, and some - like dodos, parasaurs and trilobytes - are extremely rare for no apparent reason.
What could be the cause of this?
Did 19.3 end up fixing this for you?
