Difficulty with cloth simulation and APEX

I’m trying to learn how to use APEX cloth. So I created a simple flag as a test. The flag works fine in the Apex Cloth tool. However, when imported to the game is just hangs straight down like a dimensionless wet noodle. I believe I have set the material and imported the apex data correctly. But the flag does nothing. I have wind source and it’s cranked up to large levels in the hopes of seeing something. But it has no effect. The ‘Show Wind’ option in the mesh viewer does nothing either. What did I overlook?

Never mind. The problem was with the FBX exporter on Blender. FYI: Don’t use the scale setting on the exporter. Leave it at 1.0. Do all your scaling beforehand.
