Difference between meta and Meta?

What is the difference between meta and Meta? I see both of them are defined, but I don’t understand their definitions. I know meta is used in the U- macros, but where and how should I use Meta?

Can someone explain a little bit to me? Thanks!

I believe they’re the same and the lower-case and upper-case versions are defined for the user’s casing preference (I.E. Camel Case).

I see. Also other words like “Category” are not case-sensitive. It seems I misunderstood it. Anyway, thanks!!
